I had a good charter last week with a very nice couple visiting Naples from Tampa. We fished the 10,000 Islands out the ramp just before Marco Island. With the hot weather and anticipated afternoon rains typical of this time of year, we met at 7am. We started to a very slow bite in the back country early, in the extremely stirred up water from the torrential rains we’ve been having. So we quickly changed the game plan and fished some beaches near a major pass for snook. They were not feeding too hard but we managed to catch several nice fish on both live shrimp and lures to save the day. We tried the mangroves again briefly before the 4 hour trip ended and caught a few snapper, jacks, and ladyfish giving my customers a great 10,000 Islands experience.

We’ve also gotten in a family trip or 2. We took a few pictures of the most recent trip to the 10,000 Islands.

Big family fun with everyone getting some fish.

A nice redfish and photo bombed my own son!
